So, currently, I am cutting. However in a few weeks I am having a septoplasty done on hope to improve breathing, snoring and sleep. It will be about 6 weeks post-op before I can fully go back to working out. My question is, during this time, should I continue in my calorie deficit and ward off any potential weight gain? Or, would my body appreciate the extra calories for recovery?
Am I pushing myself hard enough if I am able to use the same weight and same number of reps for each set? For example, I am able to do 3x9 with 50lbs and an RPE 7 for single leg press 45°. Does this mean I didn’t go hard enough on the first set if I was able to finish with the same wt and reps?
I’ve been going through the 12-week Full Body Training Program and am wondering which shoes are best to wear on a day that involves little bit of cardio and full body. I know a flat foot is best when training legs (I wear converse), but then my feet hurt when I do my warm up sprints/short walks on the treadmill at the end. How should I figure out which shows to wear to optimize both?
Hi Tony and Marianna, I was wondering if you could expand on your comment about not being able to build muscle with just body weight/ using bands. Can’t you find a variation of an exercise that you can progressively overload just using body weight. for example if squats are too easy doing progressions to be able to do a pistol squat, etc.
