Advice for bariatric patients with muscle growth

I'm 2yrs post op and struggling to gain muscle. Trying to get as much protein in as possible. Any suggestions on how to get the most out of what I can eat.

In today's podcast episode, you said you would share a link on how to figure out how much muscle a person can build, but I saw no link in the show notes.

How heavy is enough?

I am progressively overloading as you suggested. However, how do I know if I'm going heavy enough? I can do 20+ reps with 75lb dumbbells on chest press for example, but going heavier seems to always cause injuries for me, so where should I go next? Even that weight is not "hard" at that many reps, like I could keep going. I want to understand where to go next.

Is there enough meat on the bones to have some sort of long form personal trainer podcast? What to expect, what to look for, what to avoid, like a ‘so you want to work with a personal trainer’ soup to nuts episode. I’d like to find one but I don’t know where to start and what to expect (especially since I only have a membership at planet fitness)
