I'm starting a cut in a few weeks. Are there any additional recommendations you make for performing a deload week while in a caloric deficit?

Splitting up protein

I typically consume half my protein intake in the evenings, but I recently read that anything more than 0.4/kg/meal is somewhat of a waste as it will not contribute to muscle synthesis. Do you have recommendations on splitting up your total daily protein intake in order to optimize digestion and absorption?
