Hey guys, my mom is in her early 60s, she used to dance and do sports when she was younger. She unfortunately is dealing with cancer for the 3rd time and she has trouble getting up and sitting down, I have been listening to mind pump and your podcast and I want to get her started on traditional strength training so she can improve her quality of life. I want to start 2-3 times a week for 15 minutes to get her foot in the door. I would love any tips or advice to help her get started. I also want to incorporate mobility as well. Hello! I've been an Oura Ring user since your sleep episode (which is my favorite episode) and my sleep has been so much better! However, I have noticed my REM sleep is increasing. I usually get 1.5 hours of deep sleep and 1.5-2hrs of REM sleep each night. (Yay) But my REM sleep has been closer to 2.5hrs the last 2 weeks. I don't feel overly stressed, but I know you don't always feel your stress levels. Is the increase in REM something I should be more concerned about. Thank you.
